Well it's been a long while since I last wrote a blog. So I'll give you the latest update!

I have included links to new audio clips on our Soundcloud page of the Korg Kronos VITA SOUNDS VOLUME 1 Sound Libraries on, so users can check the new Programs out before they buy and download them. I also plan to create another 3 Sound Banks for the Kronos over the next 1 - 2 years to complete the VITA SOUNDS VOLUME 1 Sound Sets. There are new sound libraries planned for other hardware and software synthesizers too! So keep watching this space. :)

In the last few months since I last wrote a blog in February, I have written a couple of new tracks called "Love will save the day" and "Written in the stars" which are currently instrumental and as of yet, unlicensed. I hope to work together with other singers on the records and sign them to a record label for release. I plan to write more new music in the future along with a new album or two in different genres.

There's a new section to the site which has been added which features links to our partners Loopmasters who sell audio samples for music production and there are plans to release sample libraries of our own for music and audio production. I will let you know more about that in the not too distant future. In the meantime, I am still developing and expanding the website and after conducting some market research recently, I have taken into consideration end users feedback and will be working on improving the user experience of and the products and services which are available.

I have announced the winner of the Korg Kronos VITA SOUNDS VOLUME 1 Synth Bass HD-1 Sound Bank competition on and our social media pages. The competition ended on the 31st July and the winner was drawn at random. Congratulations to Dan Benezra from Canada. I hope you enjoy the new Programs for your Korg Kronos and have fun making music with them.

We are also looking for Synth Programmers/Sound Designers to work in partnership with us, so please take a look at the current vacancies which are available. A link can be found on the bottom menu of the website.

I hope to bring you news of new sound libraries for other synths, both hardware and software soon and also new music which I've written! In the meantime, have a great month and to all those synth geeks out there, have fun on your synths making and playing music.

Until the next time......

This month's blog I am going to tell you a little bit about my background. In the past, I was an electronic dance music producer and artist and also a Club DJ. I had over 30 releases on vinyl under different pseudonyms including my own name on a number of record label's such as Baroque Records in Coventry (UK) and on Source Of Gravity Records which was based in the Isle Of Man. Some of my tracks also featured on a number of dance music CD Compilations around the world. Some of my music was played and supported by superstar DJ's such as Paul Oakenfold, Armin Van Buuren and Sasha to name a few! One track in particular, Vitality "Skylite" which was released on Method Records back in 2002/2003 was Tune Of The Month in the progressive house music section of I-DJ magazine and it also was played on the radio etc.

My main instrument was the guitar when I was in my teens and I was the vocalist and guitarist in a grunge band called "Pop Love Haze" when I was at school. I later developed an interest in synths and started listening to electronic music like Depeche Mode, The Prodigy, Jean Michel Jarre, Orbital and The Chemical Brothers etc and would tune in to radio shows which were playing drum n bass music. The sounds I was hearing at the time were new to me and refreshing and inspiring! I couldn't get those kind of sounds being in a metal/grunge band or from my electric or acoustic guitars. I'm sure my experience will ring true with a lot of people and if you're reading this now, you will probably have shared similar experiences and a fascination for electronic music.

For me, when I first started out making third party sound libraries for various hardware synthesizer's, it started out as a hobby when I was about 16 and I learnt to play the piano and synthesizer's and toyed around with my father's synths which he had and as I grew older and started to earn some money from my part time job at Asda whilst I was studying a Media and Business Management and I.T. degree at university, I collected hardware synths such as the Korg Trinity and Korg Prophecy when I lived at home with my parents back in the nineties and when I had a studio in my bedroom. I became somewhat of an expert and really good at creating useable sounds in my own music productions and would heavily rely on my own patches to create my own distinctive sound on my music releases and would also let others use them in their own productions when I launched in the late 90's.

I love to create sounds from scratch using initialized patches. It's like being an artist and painting a picture. I imagine the sound I want in my head and try to re-create it using whatever tools I can on a synth. For the Korg Kronos sound libraries, I use the internal waveforms on the synth as opposed to using external samples which would require extra memory, which therefore means I don't need to buy any extra RAM for my Kronos. I use a basic Korg Kronos for example with no added extras and that is enough for me to create amazing new sounds that I can use in my music and for other people to use in their music or audio productions or for performances.

Right now, I'm working on new music and am using my VITA SOUNDS VOLUME 1 Sound Libraries for my Korg Kronos on the new tracks which I am creating. It's taken me a long time to make the soundsets that are available to license from and there are still new soundsets planned for the future but I hope you will appreciate that this is a massive undertaking and that I am now very busy with making my own music now so new soundsets won't be released as regular.

I appreciate any feedback from end users and value any comments or suggestions from Korg Kronos users who are interested in licensing my sound libraries for their Kronos. I welcome your suggestions and reviews! Please get in contact with me especially licensed users and let me know what you think of the soundsets and whether you've used my patches in any of your productions as per terms of the licensing agreement. I would love to hear your music and I hope you have credited me for my input into your work. It will also help to increase my chances of getting further work in the future or interest in using my freelance sound programming services. I really appreciate this and thank you in advance and am eternally grateful for your custom and compliance with the licensing terms and conditions.

If you ever have any questions about my third party sound libraries please don't be afraid to ask or get in touch! Also, as some of you may know, I have lost some hearing  as a result of working in noisy environments in my younger years but I am not completely deaf. I have what is known as Spatial Hearing Loss. I have trouble hearing what people are saying in noisy environments or when there is substantial background noise. My father did always warn me that I'll end up deaf if I listened to music loud on headphones. And one of the downsides to being a DJ was exposure to loud music in noisy environments. I can still make music and sound and work in recording studio's but whether I can perform live remains to be seen. Working in the studio isn't a problem for me despite wearing a hearing aid to compensate for any hearing loss! I hope to perform live in the future but I will have to test whether I am capable of doing it. I'll keep you up to date with any developments.

Try the demo patches out for the Korg Kronos for yourself before buying a license to use the full sound banks in your music or audio projects. I would recommend anyone who loves making sound libraries and who make fantastic patches to get creating and we at will be very happy to help you sell them on our website. I am currently the only synthesizer programmer and we are always looking for other programmers to work in conjunction with us and join our team and expand our range of third party sound libraries as there are only so many I can make and my time is limited. We have the platform to release and sell third party sound libraries and have interest from synthesizer owners and users from all over the world! I only have so much time myself to make new third party sound libraries so we welcome others to join our team.

I have been working on a few new tracks recently and I can't wait for you to hear them! I hope to have a new album ready within the next 2-3 years or sooner. My background is in producing electronic dance music so I will be making trance, house, drum n bass and other genres of dance music and also more chilled out music and Pop. I am also hoping to buy a few new synth's in the future which have attracted my attention. I won't divulge which ones as that is a closely guarded secret! I am especially keen on working with modular synths as that seems to be all the rage at the moment. So, I am willing to give it a go! As you will probably know and realise, I have always been a fan of Korg synths and have made third party sound libraries for a number of Korg synths in the past and will continue to do so.

Well, that concludes this month's blog. I don't really have anything else to add!

As always have a great month and I'll see you here around the same time next month for my next blog and update.

Keep having fun with your synths and making music!

Well, hello again! Welcome back! I hope you had a good Christmas and new year's and a happy holidays wherever you are in the world reading this....

This month, there is a special offer on. The January sale on the website started on new year's day and if you want to get 25% discount on Third Party Sound Libraries sold on, please use the Coupon Code: 01012017 at the checkout of the shopping cart to claim the discount. This special offer ends on midnight January 31st (GMT). Click on the homepage of the website for further details.

I appreciate not everyone will like every single patch in each sound library that I create and develop so I appreciate your feedback and it would be nice if you would let me know which sounds you really like and if you have used any of my sounds in your productions or performances. And if you've credited me on any releases as required in the end user license. I obviously make the patches with my own music productions in mind, but I do also take into consideration end users preferences and what they like too, so please do keep in touch and let me know what you think.

Remember, my sound libraries are royalty free! You just pay a one off licensing fee and have to credit me in any releases or productions as per normal practise in the music and entertainment industry. More than anything, it is just respectful, so I would appreciate end users feedback from time to time and of course regular dialogue and contact for the Sound Programming which I do for various hardware and software synthesizer's.

I create and develop third party sound libraries in a purely voluntary capacity at the moment on a part time basis but use of my sound libraries are administered and licensed to end users. The patches themselves which I create and develop are essentially free but you have to be licensed to use them (that's the deal..) and you must also credit me in inlays etc when using them on recordings and official releases as per terms of the licensing agreement.

For example, a simple "Sound Programming on [INSERT NAME OF SYNTHESIZER] on track 1 by VITA (Mark Harrison) at" will be sufficient. I hope this month's blog helps you understand more of what is required by you, the end user, of my third party sound libraries for various hardware and software synthesizers after you've purchased a license and downloaded the Sound Libraries for your synth/s.

And for those of you who haven't yet purchased my VITA SOUNDS VOLUME 1 Sound Libraries for the Korg Kronos, there is an even better special offer on for a very limited time only! This is exclusive to you if you're reading my blog  this month. There's a 50% discount on my VITA SOUNDS VOLUME 1 VITA BUNDLE MULTI-PACK (Download only) product which includes 640 new Programs for your Korg Kronos. So, don't miss out on this fantastic opportunity to save lots of money and get the bundle package at half price! Please use coupon code: 5050 at the checkout of the shopping cart. This special offer currently ends on the 15th January at midnight (GMT). Buy and download the bundle now!!!

It will help keep you up to date with news and new releases that become available and any special offers that are available from time to time!

Don't forget if you have any questions or suggestions about anything synth related please send me a message from the Contact Us section of the website.

Have a great 2017. And have fun with your synth/s.

Until next time....... See you next month.

I'll make it a short one this month! Just to let you know there is a special offer on this December. You can get 10% discount on all my VITA SOUNDS VOLUME 1 Sound Libraries for your Korg Kronos on To get your 10% discount please use the coupon code: 2512 at the checkout of the shopping cart on the Uplifted Music & Media Portal Online Store. The offer ends on midnight 26th December 2016 (GMT).

I also thought I would just mention that my VITA SOUNDS VOLUME 1 Soundsets for the Korg Kronos don't require extra RAM or memory in your Korg Kronos. The soundsets use the internal samples, so there are no hidden costs like with other soundsets available from Third Party Developers on the internet. The new Programs which I have made work on the Kronos with the minimum requirements.

I will be working on a new album over the next few years and also will continue to develop new Programs on the Kronos and will keep you updated with new releases and news that may be of interest to you....

Well, that's it for this month!

I will take this opportunity to wish you all a Happy Christmas and Happy Holidays and all the best for the new year!

As always, have a great month. Have fun making sounds and writing and playing music on your synthesizer.

This month I have been busy working on setting up my studio so I can start to work on making new music. I have temporarily put making new Sound Libraries for the Korg Kronos on hold whilst I set up my studio to work exactly how I want it to. I have made a new electronic dance music track called VITALITY "GOD SAVE THE QUEEN" just for fun and to test if my studio is working ok. I have uploaded it to Soundcloud and it is currently available exclusively at the moment from there to listen to and it includes a FREE mp3 download of the track. You can also use it as a ringtone especially if you are feeling patriotic!

Please click on the following link to listen to and download the track:

I make new Third Party Sound Libraries for various hardware and software synthesizer's for the love of it and for the majority of the time in a voluntary position at this current moment and I do it because I really love to make new sounds and I believe I know what I am doing. I have years of past experience making new sounds on a whole range of synths and I understand the architecture of the majority of new synths. Something I am thinking of getting into which excites me is modular synths but that will be in the future. At the moment, I am focusing on making a new album of tracks and completing the VITA SOUNDS VOLUME 1 package for the Korg Kronos.

I find when using a lot of synths that the factory user presets aren't always useable for tracks which I am making. I might find one or two preset sounds which I can use and which inspire me. So, that's why I like using my own personal patches which I have created or soundsets by Sound Designer's that I can rely on to work fast and complete a project on time. The majority of the sounds which I have made for the Korg Kronos are all useable in any type of project. It's knowing how to make useable sounds in music or for film, TV and soundtracks etc that's the art of sound design. Not everyone can do it or is that great at making sounds which you can use in projects.  So, that's why it's always a good idea to get Sound Libraries for your synthesizer/s from people who really know what they're doing and have qualifications and a background in sound production and previous experience. Etc.

The only bit of news I have to tell you this month is that I will probably be introducing a new product range on the website. More news of this and further details to come in the future. Keep watching this space. As you know I am always updating the website and developing it to create a much better user experience. If you have any suggestions please feel free to get in contact with me via the Contact Us menu at the top of this website.

Well, that pretty much sums up everything for this month. I haven't got too much else to talk about this month but don't forget to try out my FREE demo Programs for your Korg Kronos if you haven't done so already! Don't miss out. The special introductory offer prices for the VITA SOUNDS VOLUME 1 Sound Libraries for the Korg Kronos will end soon. Treat yourself to some new inspirational sounds for your Kronos this festive season. Download the free demo's now or buy the full Sound Banks. It'll be well worth your while!

As always, have a great month. Have fun on your synthesizer and enjoy making and playing music.

The website is still under constant construction and is being developed all the time to help improve end user experience. I work part time at it so I'm always updating the site and working on new patches for synths. I've added a new section to the website this month - Synth Reviews. I've also made a new Sound Bank available for Korg Kronos users to purchase. I think you will be impressed when you hear the new VITA SOUNDS Synth Lead HD1 Sound Bank which I have created and which has been released through

I am very excited to use the new sounds myself in future productions. The new Sound Bank takes full advantage of the Joystick and Virtual Joystick on the Korg Kronos giving the end user extra control over the dimensions of the new Programs and gives lots of depth to the new sounds. There are also some great sound effects built into the new Synth Lead Programs which you can use on recordings and they are even better for live performances and keyboard solo's.

The writing and recording of my new VITALITY studio album has been put back a little but I am looking forward to starting it as soon as possible. The new album will feature guest vocals from other artists and I am hoping to start working on it towards the end of this year. I will be using the VITA SOUNDS VOLUME 1 Sound Libraries on it and I will let you hear the new tracks in the future to give you an idea of what the new VITA SOUNDS VOLUME 1 Sound Libraries are capable of!

I am delighted with the ideas for new tracks that I have come up with already and I can't wait to start putting new productions together. Here's a tip for you: You can use the new VITA SOUNDS VOLUME 1 Synth Lead HD1 Sound Bank for both bass and lead parts in your music. If you select monophonic to polyphonic in the menu of the Program edit screen on your Kronos, you can use the new sounds for pads but you need to bare in mind that they were designed for lead and bass parts specifically.

I recommend that you download the latest demo sound banks from our retail website and give the new VITA SOUNDS Synth Lead HD1 Programs a go.

In the meantime I will continue to make new Programs for the Korg Kronos and will keep you updated with the latest news about new Sound Banks I make. I can't tell you what the new Sound Bank will be as that is a closely guarded secret but I am more than sure you will be extremely impressed when it gets released. Keep visiting the website for latest updates.

Have a great month and have fun with the new sounds!

If you're looking for new Sound Libraries for your Kronos, but you're not sure whether you'd like the new patches I've made for the Korg Kronos, then download the demo patches and give them a try! They're free to download. I just have to authorise the download first and then you can download them. I will also email you the demo's as soon as possible after receiving your order. I am still working on new patches and I hope to release the next Sound Bank in a month or two. I'll let you know when they become available.

The beauty of the new Sound Libraries which I have made for the Korg Kronos is that they are versatile and users can use the VITA SOUNDS VOLUME 1 Synth Bass Programs for both bass and lead parts. The same applies to the VITA SOUNDS VOLUME 1 Synth Lead Programs. You can use them for both bass and lead parts. The patches are free but you pay for a licence to use them in your productions and performances. I would also suggest that you can use the VITA SOUNDS VOLUME 1 Synth Pads for lead and bass parts as well as for playing chords on your Kronos! That's my tip for you for this month.

This month I've added a new section to the website for User Bank Allocation for the VITA SOUNDS VOLUME 1 Sound Libraries on the Korg Kronos so users know which banks to load each Sound Bank into their Kronos, especially for when I release Combinations in the future. The combinations will be released next year at some point but you'll need the VITA SOUNDS VOLUME 1 Programs for the Combinations to work. I've also added a new section to the site for one-to-one tutorials for the Korg Kronos synthesizer. So, if you're interested in learning how to make your own Programs on your Kronos and you're a beginner then get in touch with me through the website and I will be only too happy to help you and teach you Sound Design basics.

I was considering closing down the website at one point last month and stopping making Third Party Sound Libraries for the Kronos and other synthesizer's but I had a change of heart and decided to keep the website going and carry on making new patches regardless. I've also decided to delay the writing and recording of my new VITALITY album and will now start working on it at the end of December, this year!

I am going to make a new trance album under my VITALITY alias and will be using the VITA patches which I have made for the Kronos on new tracks which I write. I'll keep you updated on the progress of the new album. I hope to collaborate with a few vocalists on the project. I have a few singers in mind at the moment but I am also open to working with other artists. So, if you are interested in collaborating please get in contact with me through the website.

Have a great month and keep visiting the website for news and further updates.

This month I have added a new section to the Korg Kronos Sound Libraries section of the website. I have created a page explaining all the notes on the Controller Assignments on the Korg Kronos for the VITA SOUNDS VOL. 1 Sound Banks. Check it out if you are a licensed user of the new Third Party Sound Libraries for the Kronos or if you are looking to license them for your own projects in the future!

I am still making new Programs on the Kronos and you can expect to see a new Sound Bank in the not too distant future and the new VITA Sound Bank will become available to license soon from me. I am very impressed with the sounds I have created so far and am looking forward to letting you hear the new demo patches when they become available from

I've also been busy looking at various synthesizer's both software and hardware which have been released or are being released which I can create new patches for and which take the synth's to a new level! I like to add my touch to synth's and I love creating new patches from initialized patches and it was a great passion of mine in the past when I ran from 1999 to 2004 and when I worked with synth's such as the Korg Trinity, Korg Triton, Waldorf Microwave XT/k, Waldorf Micro Q, Novation Supernova II, Korg MS2000/R and Access Virus Rack etc.

I used all these synth's and virtual instruments within Cubase when recording my first and second VITALITY albums. A lot of the time I would use my own personal sound libraries which were under the programming name of TSYT. I also used the sounds on a lot of my 12" single releases on record label's such as Baroque Records, Method Records, Source Of Gravity Records, Gravitation Records and Mechanism Records etc I had over 30 releases on vinyl records in the early noughties so was very productive when it came to electronic dance music production.

I currently make new sounds on the Korg Kronos for my own future electronic dance music productions. In the music industry, this is pre-production. The new sounds which I make will be used in the recording of new tracks. However, I won't be using every single new sound from my personal collection of new Third Party Sound Libraries - the VITA SOUNDS VOL. 1 Sound Banks. This means that some of the new Programs won't be used in tracks that get released meaning the licensee gets the opportunity to be one of the first licensed users to use a particular VITA patch on their record as it has not been used yet. So, you can even be one of the first to use my patches on a hit record or 2!!!

When I am making new sounds I like to brainstorm new ideas for useable patches which I can use on my records and make me stand out from the crowd. A lot of effort goes into the design and shaping of the sounds by visual projection in my mind and how I design a sound in the landscape that will work well in any song. I imagine what I can do with the synth and then produce a new patch. Sometimes I'll spend up to 30 minutes or more on one patch getting the right sound I want! There's very little point in making sounds I won't use but when I've completed all the VITA Sound Banks it gives me a wide range of choice and I can narrow it down to the very best sounds I think would suit any future records I make.

At the moment I haven't made any new records after a very long gap in my career after illness but I am now much better and in the frame of mind for making new music. I see myself starting to make new records in the not too distant future. This means that licensed users of the VITA SOUNDS VOLUME 1 Sound Banks are getting the new Sound Banks exclusively at the moment. You really should take advantage of this knowledge if you are looking for fantastic new Third Party Sound Libraries for your Korg Kronos.

I will get round to making some new tutorials in the future too, for those of you who want to learn how to create your own sounds on the Korg Kronos. You can expect some new basic tutorials and maybe even an advanced tutorial if you're lucky! I would like to help newcomers and beginners in to the world of sound design by giving you step by step instructions on how to program your Korg Kronos and make new useable sounds. If you're interested in a one to one tutorial please get in touch with me through the website by clicking on Contact Us in the menu at the top of for further information. I can teach you the basics if you're a newcomer to Sound Design and eager to learn how to program your Kronos yourself.

I guess that concludes my latest blog for this month on If there's any software or hardware synthesizer's you would like me to make new patches for please get in contact with me by sending me a message from the Contact Us section of the website and let me know. I'd love to hear your suggestions. Thanks! I appreciate your feedback! Also, let me know how you're getting on with the new patches on your productions if you're a licensed user or what you think of the VITA SOUNDS VOL. 1 demo patches for the Korg Kronos.

As always have a great month! Enjoy playing on your Korg Kronos and having fun with your synthesizer or any hardware synth or virtual instrument for that matter... and don't forget to give me your feedback and suggestions. I look forward to hearing from you!

JULY 2016

There have been a few new additions to the website this month which I'd like to tell you about! I have included a section for tutorials on how to make new sounds on the Korg Kronos and other synthesizer's in the future. I have made a step by step guide on how to make a simple program on the Kronos starting with a Synth Bass patch using a Square waveform.

The tutorial is designed to help beginners and newcomers into the world of Sound Design and to teach users how to make their own sounds on the Kronos. I intend to publish more tutorials in the future for the Korg Kronos so please keep visiting our website for news updates or subscribe to our newsletter. I hope this new section on the website is of help to Kronos users. I appreciate your feedback, so send me a message through the Contact Us section of the website and let me know how you get on and whether it is useful or not for you and give me your suggestions if you have any.

I have also added a Kronos user survey/poll to determine whether visitors to make their own music or play cover songs on their Kronos or whether they do both. This will help us provide a better user experience on the website and will give me more of an idea of what type of programs and combinations Kronos users are looking for.

There's also a new section which includes free wallpapers for your desktop PC/Laptop and Mobile/Cell Phone and tablet which you can use as your homescreen or lockscreen. I have included a gallery with pictures of the Korg Kronos too. You are free to download them! Let me know what you think.

I haven't got round to making any new music yet as I have been so busy with other projects and I am still looking for vocalists. At this present moment, my priority is to complete the VITA SOUNDS VOL. 1 Sound Banks by the end of the year, so making new music will have to wait for the time being. I will eventually post links to new music I make which will demonstrate the usability of the VITA SOUNDS VOL. 1 Sound Banks in music productions.

If you have any questions about the new Third Party Sound Libraries which I have made, please feel free to get in touch! I also welcome any suggestions from you so I can improve the website and to see if there's anything I've missed that isn't already catered for.

In the meantime, I will continue to make new sounds on the Kronos and keep on developing the website.

Have a great month!
